CANDU® Power Plant

Calandria Accessibility Platform Trolley (ATP)

Inspection Platform used during reactor refurbishment. Operators position the array of four battery powered platforms within the fuel handling duct by wireless pendant.

Project was successfully completed within one day of the customer's aggressive design and fabrication schedule.

Eric Wilson held dual roles as

Project Manager and Project Engineering

under contract with Promation Nuclear.

Primary Side Boiler Cleaning System for

CANDU® nuclear plants

This is an automated blast system developed by AECL® to remove internal deposits (ID) on the primary boiler tubes. The system features robot control, pneumatic shot delivery, vacuum transport, shot/material separation, and radioactive waste collection.

While at AECL®, Eric Wilson started in a role as Mechanical / Project Engineer during development being promoted, ultimately to Department Manager for this Field Services department.

Darlington Nuclear Plant Bulkhead Refurbishment

Project entailed decontamination, inspection, and repair of large welded fabrications. These form part of the reactor vault containment boundary during plant refurbishment.

Eric Wilson served in a Engineering Oversight role and subsequently as a Shop Supervisor under contract with Promation Nuclear.

Nuclear Reactor - Permanent Start-Up Instrumentation (PSUI) System

PSUI is a nuclear class pressure retaining component designed to re-position the start-up Fission Chambers within the CANDU® Core.

Eric served initially in dual roles as Project Manager and Project Engineering and subsequently as Project Engineering under contract with Promation Nuclear.

Isogen Isotope Production System (IPS) at

Bruce Nuclear Power Plant

IPS is an innovative proprietary system designed to deliver medical isotope targets to the reactor core for irradiation.

Promation, our customer, was contracted to complete the electrical and pneumatic control panels, both key components ensuring safe and effective target delivery.

Eric Wilson served in a Engineering Oversight and Review role under contract with Promation Nuclear.

Our logo is a combination of the letter "Z" for Zion Solutions.

And the Star of David which points to the hill of Jerusalem on which the city of David was built.
